St. Luke’s Innovation Celebration Focuses on Emerging Tech Fun
Kimberly Gerardi, designLab Director
From Jan. 8-13, St. Luke’s students had the opportunity to participate in hands-on, emerging tech fun during the St. Luke’s Innovation Celebration! Throughout the week, the designLab and Technology departments teamed up to host daily activities, including drone relay races, robot battles, and virtual reality experiences that showcased some of the incredible tools available at St. Luke’s.
The celebration culminated on Saturday with a special Food Science and Engineering Day. Participants explored molecular gastronomy in tasty workshops, including making hot cocoa bombs, vacuum-form chocolate, sugar glass, and nitrogen ice cream. It was a delicious day for everyone in attendance.
